This is so awful to admit.
my boyfriend of three years has a really awful gaming addiction…so much that it’s literally caused him to flunk out of college and cause serious tension with relationships to the people closest to him, including myself and even his mother. he’s obsessed. Tonight, we had a talk about it and we decided we were going to work on this together.
Unfortunately, my boyfriend isn’t exactly the most honest person when it comes to “fessing up” just how bad this “addiction” is. He won’t directly tell me just how much time he plays, how much money he spends purchasing games, etc…so I decided I needed to know just how bad it was in order to figure out where to go from here.
I did the horrible deed of hacking his e-mail account in attempt to find out how many of these gaming websites he was subscribed to. Instead, I found an account with a “hot horny singles” website, in which he created a profile, had a friend, and even engaged in a conversation with another woman.
How do I handle this? Where do I go from here? How do I confront him on this?
