I’m in year 12 and I use my computer too much and I’ve recognised this.
I get home at 3.40pm and I use my computer until a little past 9pm. We’re supposed to be doing minimum of 3 hours of study/hw at night. By the time I’ve spent 7 hours on my computer I’m too tired to study or do anything else, but I complete just use an hour to do homework than go to bed.
I have no self control. I suffer from anxiety and I only really ever feel calm when I’m on the internet away from reality. I have a time-table that I never stick to. I’m supposed to get off the web at 6.30 but I’ve never accomplished that.
I’m scared that I won’t do well this year, because I want to do well so badly.. but this is getting in the way. I don’t know how to stop this and its affecting my physical health too.

The easy answer to your self control issues is to get this app called self control lol
im in university and i use it. The internet is great, but its also a black hole sometimes. This helps keep your priorities in line by blocking sites for a period of time so you can be forced to do your work.
The hard answer is to work on your self, mentally. I havent been able to do this myself so i cant speak with wisdom. But learning to concentrate and focus on tasks at hand will help you with you homework now, but will also help you later down the line. to do this, you may require hep from parents, friends ect to make you keep to this schedule until you have the capacity to do it yourself.
I believe one way or another you can do it.
