I’m a guy, 16 and my parents left the house and didn’t answer the phone for 10 hours.
They both ended up getting completely drunk and my mom even let some bouncer dude drive out 85 thousand Mercedes around with her in it!
My mom even drove the car 5 miles from the bar to our house.
This happens all the time, I’ve been through physical fights with my dad, bad enough to need all the neighbors to come over and help.
I just worry about them and don’t want to be shown on 6 o’clock news for having parents that are now in jail for running from the police or something.
The next day I confronted them and told them it wasn’t right and they started denying everything so I just told them that I knew what happened. I think they want me to keep it to myself because they don’t want my brother knowing about it (he already knows because I told him).
Now they offered to make it up by going out to eat or going shopping.
I know the right thing to do would be to accept, but I’m really scared about just letting it go.
I’m always the “nice guy” and finish last when things like this happen.
For parents to answer:
How would you feel if your 16 year old son left for 10 hours because he was gonna go “shopping”, and came home drunk insted?
What would you do if he just denied everything and just told you “**** off it happens”?
