ok now im 21 and im really bitter towards relationships, ive only had sex about ten times with a girl who was technically “with” me but cheated on me. I dont think its logical to get into a relationship. What are the odds (especially now-a-days) that a relationship will last, you are already facing a majority of married people who dont stay together (not to mention all the people who stay together but are not happy at all). So whats the point, you know that everything will eventually just lead to pain, why not spend your time on something that will guarantee progress. It just seems so pointless, your told to mold yourself into this textbook dater that everyone will want, but its hard to change who you are, especially when your super shy like me. Im never going to be with anyone again, i dont care about petty relationships like that with people anymore, i dont really think love exists ( i think you can become infatuated with a person) but “true love” is a hoax

True love exists. I mean there are couples who have been married 65 years and stayed faithful the whole time and never abused each other or anything, and they respect and trust each other. That’s a perfect example of true love.
However, if you feel like being single is what you want, go for it. (:
