I have an Uncle who is in jail, and is fighting his case and as if right now they are barley choosing the jury. My Uncle was once with a woman for 3 yrs, He didn’t wanna have anything to do with her for the fact that she started doing drugs. So he left her and moved on with his life. Well a year later went by and the woman suddenly called the cop’s and told the cops that my uncle molested her daughter ‘Not my Uncle’s biological daughter’. Well a warrant was served and my uncle got arrested for lewd lascivious act w/child under 14. My uncle is NOT known for such thing like that. I know the woman is saying that because my uncle doesn’t want anything to do with her so i know she is doing everything in her power to get him back. Why would someone lie or non the less, have there daughter lie? My uncle been around my whole family with lots of kids and NEVER done or said anything like that. I’ve heard that the Prosecutor can go based on hear say on if the girl sounds convincing. Can someone please please help with advise?

Unless there’s evidence, he’ll be fine. The defense should request a polygraph of the woman and child.

Does he have an attorney? First thing that his attorney should ask, is, why did she wait so long filing the complaint? When this act supposedly happened, what proof does she have that it ever took place!? She has to come up with DATES, times, and places this molestation occurred. And why didn’t she call the cops THEN!? I know lie detector tests have no value in Court, but I would insist the daughter take one! Also, most important, the woman’s mental stability! Has she been living with anyone else, and has she tried this trick on some other man!? SHE needs to be investigated, especially if she is a drug user!!
I don’t know what her point is accusing him of this, unless she thinks she can get money out of him! Getting him convicted isn’t going to get him back in her arms, in fact, just the opposite!
