Question by Jennah: How do I get over my Youtube addiction?
We have a Verizon data limit, which means we only get 10GB a month. But Youtube wastes an enormous amount of megabytes. I want to stop, cause I don’t want to keep going over and wasting money, but Youtube videos help me get over my depression, and I don’t want to tell my mom I have depression (for personal reasons). What do I do? How can I stop this? and I’m 13 so don’t give answers meant for a 30+ old person.

Like any addiction, try to lessen usage as time passes.

Omg I know EXACTLY what you’re going through, my family moved to this neighborhood where we have no Internet service so my dad bought that Verizon mifi thingy. Well, my parents bought me an iPhone with an unlimited data plan, so now I watch my videos on my phone. If you have a phone you could do that or you could use your parents phone or something. If not, then limit yourself to one video every couple of days. I know it’s really hard, because you want to watch every video that comes out on your subscription box. Trust me, I know. But instead, just choose the video(s) which you REALLY want to watch and only watch those, and leave the rest for another time. Hope I helped, and best of luck! 🙂
