What Is the Most Effective Diet Pill on the Market?

Question by Lyndsie Jo Compton: What is the most effective diet pill on the market?
I tried SlimQuick a while back with no results at all. I’ve also tried several herbal supplements from health food stores and It Works (which it doesn’t). I don’t want to spend $ 60 for 30 pills and have them not work. I tried Zantrex-3 (blue bottle) and I stayed up all night. When they say maximum energy, they aren’t kidding! I see commercials all the time but I can’t believe that these people lose 40 lbs. in 4 months.
What have you tried and liked/disliked?

Hi Lyndsie Jo,

Unfortunately, diet pills that you can buy over the counter (meaning without seeing a doctor and getting a prescription) do not work. The reason for this being that anything potent enough to work would come with negative side effects and have to be regulated by the FDA as a drug. I’m not sure how old you are, but there were plenty of diet pills with “ephedrine/ephedra” that you could buy at gas stations and convenience stores in the 90’s/early 00’s but what was found was that these pills were essentially converted into methamphetamine in your body which caused addiction and all sorts of nasty side effects.

That is the problem with diet pills, because the way the body works, diet pills can only do 2 things. 1) they can change the way you absorb fat or calories, which is dangerous if it works well bc you can become very ill, and often people just eat more which makes them fat and unhealthy. 2) they can work by speeding up your body, which comes with all sorts of horrible health effects and potential addiction issues.

Why am I telling you all this when you only asked about pills lol? Because before I got my medical degree and understood any of this stuff, I spent probably thousands of dollars buying supplements for working out and all that type of stuff and NONE of it was worth anything except for maybe protein powder for weight lifting. Seriously, millions of years of evolution have worked to make your body resistant to hunger, therefore very hard to lose weight. What this means is that a little pill is either gonna do nothing, or make a slight change while destroying your body in the process.

So what do you do? It just comes down to using more calories than you take in. Work out every day and eat less food. New studies show restricting your eating within a 4-6 hour window helps patients lose around 10% of their body weight. If you are obese and it is genetic, I would look into gastric bypass which works wonders and is covered by insurance now. Best of luck

Type 2 diabetes. It is not that hard to beat it.

1) Exercise
2) Avoid beef fat and butter
3) Less deep fried food
4) More non-starchy vegetables and fruits
5) Skip soda and drink alkaline water(pinch of baking soda(not powder)) but if you are old then probably need to buy machine since you don’t want extra salt.
6) Brown rice(some modern varieties are pretty good tasting).
7) Replace hamburger with lean top sirloin
8) Ham instead of spam or bacon
9) Gardenia plants (all parts) can be eaten.
10) Cinnamon(take it as herbal medicine)
11) Replace sugar/nutrasweet with stevia (probably only need like 1/10 or less)
12) Replace butter with extra virgin olive oil after the cooking
13) Eat extra watery oat meal as soup(ie 1 oat meal 2-4 part water)
14) Wash it extra good and lemon/orange add with salad etc., or perhaps lemonade with stevia.
15) Eat little bit nuts
16) Eat fish
17) Eat flux seed
18) beans and vegetables
19) Eat as little processed food as possible
20) Standup much as possible
21) Dance
22) Sports
23) Run

Alkaline water and oat meal sort of help kill the appetite too.

Losing weight
1. Same as diabetes
2. Checkup with doctor, especially cortisone levels if you are 50lbs or move over weight
3. If you are female, take estrogen supplement since body don’t produce enough for fat people
Also don’t excessively deprive yourself or jump into exercise too much. You don’t want to yoyo and gain more weight when you give up, or stretch marks neither.

You don’t need health food or equipment. Eat like whole stick of celery without anything instead of potato chips etc.
