Okay so my dad used to be addicted to gambling which means he had an addictive personality. Does that mean I could have an addictive personality as well? Like if i did drugs (which I don’t) could i become addicted quickly?
I dont mean specifically gambling, like im just saying that since he was addicted to it, chances are had he done drugs, he would have been addicted too, because he DOES have an addicted personality.

They say your addiction potential runs in families yes, but I believe that is about specific drugs/alcohol if your family used that. I don’t think for gambling, that would be genetic.
You could be environment, if you are always around it, and get used to it, then see nothing wrong with it. It depends if anyone else had problems about gambling, and what your thoughts are about it.
