i see myself heading in the direction of a spending addiction-if it hasn’t already started. I want to stop this before i get in over my head. Are there any support groups that are not based on a belief in God?

Yeah actually Recovery Connection has a page about compulsive shopping addiction. You can either call them for help or if you’d like they have an option of chatting with them (and they don’t preach about God) Hope this helps!
