My friend has an addiction to Oxycontin. She only takes it at night before bed to help her fall asleep. Has anyone had an Oxy addiction? She thinks she is going to get sick if she just stops taking it.
Can anyone tell me about their addiction.

If she’s only using the pills as a sleep aid, I don’t think she has really developed a physical addiction to the drug yet, which is good. Just tell her she needs to stop now before it gets really hard to quit. Exercising, or just doing anything physically active may help her get better rest

Tell her to take some dang Tylenol PM. It’s cheaper and will put her ass to sleep without all the itching that Oxycontin causes.
