1. A popular reason they are popular is because of peer pressure, wanting to escape problems, or the belief it is fun and not a big deal.
2. From friends and people on the streets
3. In pockets and clothing
4. Peer pressure and just plain wanting to try them out
5. When someone gets addicted to a drug, all they want is the drug. They start to lose interest in everything but that drug. They will do anything to get it, and don’t care who they hurt or what they have to do. They just don’t care. It becomes not only a physical addiction, but a mental one too. They drop out of school, lose interest in their family and friends, and may get arrested too. They don’t care what the drug is doing to them, they just need it. The drug will change them, give them diseases and other horrible things. Most addicts fall victim to this cruel fate. Some can get help. Some go to rehab and change. Others refuse. You defiantly do not want to mess with drugs. It will lead you to a road worse than death.

Kids are influenced by drugs mainly because of peer pressure. If one can rise above the tendency to follow groupthink and strive to be an individual who lives beyond the chains of conformity then a drug-free life will be possible.
