hes my best friend, my first real boyfriend, i love him so much. weve been best friends since i was like 10 (im 18, hes 17 now) and hes always been involved with drugs. the past few months weve both done some pills occasionally but hes taking it too far lately wanting to do it evevryday even when he knows i want it to stop. i know hes not actualy addicted but i dnt want to be involved with this anymore. ive told him all of this and he says he doesnt HAVE to do them but i know he wants to and ive been trying to act okay with it for a while so he doesnt resort to sneaking around behind my back to do it. i really love him and cant imagine being without him but what should i do 🙁

If you are not into it anymore, it is unfair to yourself to be involved with someone who does. Tell them how you feel and say that you do not want that lifestyle anymore.
If he still does it, it might be time to hit the road. Great friend or not, if you are done with it, and he is not, he will drag you down, the rest of your days.

sounds like he’s addicted to painkillers. could you talk to his parents? someone else who could talk to him?
a friend is someone who steps in when they see a problem, and acts in the right way, regardless.
if you continue to do nothing it is called enabling and you become part of the problem, not the solution. all the best.
