No, of course not. This insults people with serious mental health issues.

You should know that there isn’t a such thing as a minor addiction. You have an addiction that can be helped with therapy. Addictions do affect your mental health in not good ways. You have no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed to see a therapist. They have dealt with this many times and have seen and heard everything. I am sorry about your experience at such an early age. This probably contributed to your addiction. You are stronger and have more courage than you think. You can deal with this with help. If you don’t it will affect all of your relationships in the future in negative ways.

(Please don’t judge me.) I am addicted to weed and snorting pills. On top of those i have alcohol addiction and cutting. My life is messed up and busy. I want to avoid rehab as much as possible. If you wont go to rehab how about going to a therapist? Nobody would have to know it would be like 1 hour a week you could say you are going to the store and go see your therapist. I would for sure do something though because what you are going through sounds rough. Take care πŸ™‚
