How Addiction Happens

Marijuana is a drug found in form of an herb. It’s botanically referred as cannabis sativa.

Marijuana is usually taken through smoking but can also be eaten or steeped in tea.

When smoked marijuana is rolled into a cigarette called a joint or a pipe called a bong.

Marijuana has got many street names example hashish, bhang, cannabis, pot, holy herb etc.

Its availability and low prices in many countries especially in Africa makes it to be usable among the youths and school pupils example the in secondary schools and colleges. Although

Inmost countries it is illegal but unfortunately due to weak law enforcing agent, incompetence, and lack of enough campaigns against the vice.

DISCUSSION

My opinion about it is that it should not be taken and any circumstances and should be discouraged at all levels. Due its wind ranging side effects that are either fatal or may lead to permanent incapacities to the person taking it.

Some of the common side effects include.

Flattered time perception
Low concentration
Sleepiness
Anxiety
Paranoia
Trouble in memory
Red blood spot eyes

PHYSICAL SIDE EFFECTTS

Headache
Changes in sexual system coupled by either low sexual desire or aggrieved desirers.
Problem in breathing.
Reduction of blood flow in brain
Nausea
Tremors
Decreased coordination
Increased appetite

Why marijuana is taken often .it causes brain damage resulting to natural chemical disruptions therefore pleasure centers and regulatory systems. Memory is destroyed together with ability to learn study or concentrate during a class event. Severe and habitual use of marijuana makes it hard for users to stop the vice. Medically community based therapeutic sciences are applied as remedy to tackle addictions.

Low perception and decreased body
cordination,impaired physical,visual abilities are fatal side effects Incase one is engaged in driving as this may lead to accidents.
Tremors lead to weakness example when performing professional duties.
Interrupted sexual desires lead to legal problems due to sexual crime.Example rape ,defilement and incest etc.
and un satisfactory sexual roles during marriage.
Increased appetite lead to dramatic change in eating habits
Nausea and lung problem lead to health complications. Example is life threatening lung cancer, heart attacks and strokes. Due to the fact that it is taken without filters, this increases the amount of tar taken hence lung problems. Just as chemicals like methamphetamine the process and the level of aging process is elevated and speed up.
Problems on eyes i.e. red blood spot eyes lead  to suspicion by colleagues thus the concerned individual tries out other ways of hiding example wearing of goggles

CONCLUSION

Due to the advice harmful side effects of taking marijuana it is my opinion that it must be highly discouraged and stopped.

Addiction which is highly compulsive, against and beyond willpower. Therefore should be avoided at all costs.

It is worthy noting that to stop addiction it advisable to consult a drug abuse

Consultant or professional.Inorder to under go drug rehabilitation therapy.
