Question by valerie: my boyfriend has a drug addiction!?
i just found out that my boyfriend has been doing meth every weekend. he has always had a problem with meth long before i got with him. but he told me he would get help. i thought he was doing ok, though he did it every once in a while i thought he was starting to try. i have already left him once for this and he said he quit and i really thought he did. i think he did for a while but he decided that since he had been doing good that it was ok for him do a little bit. he thinks doing a dime is not a big deal.
i really need some advice. we have been together for a year and he just wont stop. i want him to go to rehab but i dont know how to talk him into going. i live in fort worth texas, so if anyone knows of a good place for him to go or if there is a way to have him taken by someone else where he has no choice, please tell me, im so lost.

My mother has had RDS since i was about 12. She has lied about alot of the things that are happening to her.. She has never once told us it could go into remission. She says nothing else works except the pain killers. I understand she is in pain and I understand she is not going to be the same.. But since she got sick ( they found it in the very very very early stages) she has done nothing.. Most days she does not get up . She doesnt get dressed and she expects everyone to do everything for her. Her house is a total disaster. She has become a hoarder. She has been a addict her whole life and is now using the rsd as an excuse to get high.. She is also doing cocaine while using the pain killers. My question is has anyone else experanced this with the dieseas and is there any way to get her off these pain meds? she has tried all the other stuff .. I dont even think she knows if she is actually in pain or not .. She is not the same anymore .. please i need my mom back.
