How to Tell My Mom About My Cuts?

Question by Mikey: How to tell my mom about my cuts?
I am not emo or anything. It’s kinda funny how it happened. I was just laying in bed one night and I saw a pocket knife and I just went off. I did it once 2 yrs ago and wanted to see if it was like the first time. I totally regret it. I told 2 best friends (they are still not sure if they want to be my friends because they’re so worried about me) and 2 people already saw my arms. They are on BOTH arm and HUGE & BLOOD RED. I’m not sure if i want to tell my mom because, knowing my mom, she will tell me whole family and never treat me the same. But at the same time, I cut almost every night. It has almost become a habit! I am almost cared of myself. I cant choose. Either: tell me my mom and get help but never be treated the same and be ashamed to be around my family OR keep hurting myself and loose friends for life! I just, it’s too impossible to choose. Please help! xx
PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I REALLY NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!! xxxxxxx

How Can I Help My Big Brother Overcome His Drug Addiction?

Question by cal: How can I help my big brother overcome his drug addiction?
My big brother is having a relationship with Mary Jane (marijuana). He knows that it’s not good for him but he says he likes what it does to him so he continues to use it. The thing is, Mary Jane’s really affecting his life. He’s getting failing grades in school (he’s really smart so I don’t know how that happened) and he’s getting worse at baseball. He even spends more time locked up in his room with Mary Jane than hanging out with anyone else. I think he really needs help. He’s such a gifted person and I don’t want his talents to go into waste. We’re from Eastport, Maine.

Do your parents KNOW??? I’d start by telling my parents. After that there isn’t much you can do except for praying.
