I Have a Friend With a Drug Addiction Who Is in Denial…..?
Question by Indigo: I have a friend with a drug addiction who is in denial…..?
this person lives far from me and avoids the conversation of drugs and addiction when it is brought up. Is there really any way for them to see what they are doing to themselves and the people that love them before it’s too late? I know it’s their choice and they have to want help. But what can I do in the meantime…..

This is always a hard one, the person won’t see the problem unless they want to. If you can afford to go out and see him (not sure how far away you are from him) and can gather others who care about him maybe its time for an intervention. It may sound a little dumb but sometimes seeing all the people you care about in your life all at once being so upset because you aren’t taking care of yourself is just the wake up call that is needed. Good luck!
