Question by Kara Myers: How can I stop my bulimia?
I’m only fifteen, I’m so ashamed of myself that I’m not sure what to do anymore. I’ve been binge eating and then purging for months now..I’m not sure how long exactly. I’ve tried to quiet so many times its ridiculous, and I can’t seem to. Even when I don’t want to eat and purge I can’t seem to control myself at times. Help?

First off, I’m SO SORRY! I have been down this road before, and I know how you feel. It’s hard to deal with. The fact that you WANT help is GREAT though!!!! It’s great that you caught it in the fairly early stages, instead of waiting a few years or so to admit that you need help. Honestly, the only thing I can tell you is to go to a DR. He or she can perscribe you to a counsler, and although it will be a hard road, it will gwt better. Good luck, you’re in my prayers.
