Question by S. C: Sleeping Pill addiction.?
So I have become quit hypocrite. I am 35 yr old female, who never unde. understood the drug addiction. It started out that I just could not sleep and was taking a couple nightime sleep aids. Then, my doctor prescribed me Ambien, After 3 yrs of being on that, it no longer works. I am now taking approximately 10 uisom, 5 Xanax and 2 Ambien EVERY NIGHT. I can still get up in the morning, I can still function fine during the day. I have four children. I want very badly to get off these, and when I try to cut down at night…. I can’t sleep, And am crabby and frustrated during the day. Afraid to admit this problem to my doctor. How can I deal with this on my own, or can I????? My husband is worried and pissed.
