please don’t try to convince me it’s wrong cos you won’t succeed
please could you give me some practical tips on how to beat this – it’s making me feel guilty and generally degrades my view of sex and lust etc….
what are some good boooks to read/things to do???

with the best will in the word, you will not stop. it’s a natural urge that will be with you for life. if you go against it, you will live your life in anger, denying yourself one of life’s greatest pleasures.

First of all, your not the only Christian or man, for that matter, that is struggling with pornography and mastubation. You are sixteen years old. It’s very normal and to be expected.
Now, on how to overcome pornography and masturbation. Well, I’m both gay and a Christian, but I’ve managed to not look at pornography or engage in a sexual relationship with another man for years. Prayer does work. It may not work at first, but if your are willing, then so is God.
