im going to make a speech about harmful addictions but i dont know what to include in my speech and i thought i could ask you guys. please if you can help 🙂

Hi ya there – as a D&A counselor I have found out that “all” addictions are harmful. However, it all depends on ones own definition of harmful. For eg., smoking is harmful yet so many people smoke. Similarly with drinking , but in moderation person can have a few drinks without to many problems arising. Drugs, weather legal, illegal – licit or illicit or prescriptions can be viewed in same manner. Addiction to sex can have same effect etc., etc. So the question is – what type of addictions are you referring to and what would you consider as harmful?? Hope that helps!!
