I’m 6 months clean and I’m confused? Some Dr.’s say this is a disease get help others say Iit’s all my choice. I struggle everyday. HELP!!!!

Both. It’s a disease… one that people choose to contract. You choose to start taking drugs, then the drugs take you over and you have to get help. In the end, it is best to never start.

I’ve never been addicted to any drugs i don’t even really drink coffee. when i was a teen i smoked a little pot & popped a few pills but thats about it… Everybody is different & i don’t believe you can put everyone in a box & say they can stop if they want to. I believe for some people it may be beyond there control. But we are put on this earth with free will & our present situations are brought on in most part due to our decisions. all i can tell you is theres alot of things i don’t have the strength for myself & all of those problems i try to give them to God to carry & just trust Him to do what i can’t. He’s never failed me yet..
