i was watching a youtube video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvgINs2bVHo) and at about 0:50 in, it shows a wikipedia page called internet addiction disorder. is this real, and if so, is it serious

yeah i think it can definetley be a disorder, just like you can be addicted to gaming.
no, i think it is no disorder, it is an addiction. and you know for yourself how bad it is with you. if you really are not sleeping anymore and what so ever, you could try to do something about it, or you could try to test if you are really addicted by for example trying to not internet for two days for example and look if you can do it.

yes it is real and unfortunatly very serious, there are some ppl that lose their jobs and sometime even there family 🙁
its an addiction like any other and hard to break for some ppl x
