Is it possible that my paxil is causing me to do and think things I normally wouldn’t? I’ve been having visual and auditory hallucinations and today I finally gave into my thoughts of shoplifting. I know, I know I’m a horrible person but I never even thought about doing it before. I feel awful after doing it but I haven’t ‘felt’ anything for months since starting the Paxil But while I was doing it, I felt excited and scared but I felt something. Granted that is no excuse, but could it be the Paxil? My doctors are thinking I’m having some psychosis along with my depression.
Honestly I would return all of it if I didn’t think they would press charges. I feel like a huge idiot.

I agree with your doctor. I’ve seen the same thing happen and many want to blame the meds. I have never seen Paxil cause a loss of control.
