So, I recently hurt my back and was prescribed Vicodin to help ease the pain. My precription is almost done and problem is , I kinda have built a dependency on the pills and get headaches and feel like crap if I dont take one. Is there anything I can do to help wean myself off the drugs? I find myself reaching for Tylenol or Advil now just to get rid of the headaches which only makes my head hurt worse the next day. I just feel like crap unless Im on them. Any advice guys?

you don’t say the strength or how long you have been on Vicodin. It is rather unusual to become addicted in a brief period of time. You could go to the doctor and explain the situation and ask him/her to wean you off over a 30 day period.God Bless Reggie

if you have had a history of using on occasion, then yes you can get “addicted” in a short period of time. its good that you have noticed this, many people don’t realize it. they just keep taking more. in my opinion if you tell the doctor that you think you are becoming addicted, he is not going to give you more. my advice, just tough it out. it will get better.
