Supposed you were obsessed with learning poker. Is this the same as being addicted to it? What is the difference?

obsession you have no choice, basically the same thing.

I think the difference is with addiction you may not always want it but you feel you have to have it where obsession is you always want it but know shouldn’t or don’t always need to have it
