How Do I Stop My Sugar Addiction?
Question by Gruff: How do I stop my sugar addiction?
All my life I’ve had a big craving for sugar and candy. Now I’m 16 years old and feel that it is time to stop eating so much sugar, since my stomach can’t handle it.
I’m a guy, and I can get a lot of stomach aches and such after eating too much candy.
I’m studying right now, although I live at home so I can spend my studentmoney as I like. (In Sweden all students get about 100€ a month for food and clothes, etc.)
If I’m at school and I just feel hungry before lunch, I may eat a little candy. If I’m waiting for the bus, I may eat a little candy, etc.
I have an app where I write up all the things I purchase so I can keep track on what my biggest spendings are, and I have apparently spent about 50€ on candy in like 17-20 days.
How to Begin Methadone Treatment for Opiate Addiction?
Question by Frady: How to begin methadone treatment for opiate addiction?
My husband and I are seeking methadone treatment for our addiction to opiate pain killers. We have been taking opiates daily for almost 2 years. My husband and I start at 2 Lortab 10 mg and go from there. We take up to 10 pills per day. Not only do we take Lortabs, but we also get Percocets, Dilaudid, Morphine, Tylenol with Codeine, etc.
I started taking such pills 6 years ago as needed after I had been prescribed Lortabs for muscle tension migraines resulting from a car accident. I never took them regularly until 2 years ago. It is very important that my husband and I seek help for our addiction. We began with prescribed pills, then sought them illegally.
Not only are we destroying our bodies, but we are spending all of our money on these dumb pills!
I have the # for a local methadone clinic and will call tomorrow to start. We are nervous and I am just wondering how the program works. Any details would help us greatly. Thank you so much… you are helping us get clean

Struggles With Pepsi Addiction.. How Much Will Stopping Matter?
Question by ? Nichole[never gives up]?: Struggles with Pepsi addiction.. how much will stopping matter?
I am 17 and have been addicted to Pepsi since was a little girl. It didn’t matter much when I was younger since I ran around outside and got a lot of exercise. However, about a year ago I went to the doctor and I have high blood pressure and I am considered obese. It’s not like I eat chocolate and I really don’t like to eat out. Almost all of the stereotypes do not exist with me. So, for the last year the Pepsi has been on and off. I am ready to commit to giving the Pepsi up for water. I haven’t been watching my calories lately but I was drinking 3-4 Pepsi’s a day. Say I substitute the calories in-taking from Pepsi with food instead, will it make any difference? I have lost about 2 pounds in the last week with the Pepsi but exercising also. The exercise is not the problem but I think I may be eating/drinking too much.Today I have not had a Pepsi. Will it even matter if I cut the Pepsi out? Thanks.
I don’t want to drink any Pepsi, diet or not. They are all unhealthy, so I am going to just drink water.
