What if Some One Close to You Has Alcohol or Drug Addiction?
Millions of people are addicted to alcohol and drugs in the United States. A survey reported that there are 28 million children between the age of twelve and nineteen in USA who consume drugs that are marked as illegal by the Government. Study and experience show that a single drug addict can affect at least 4 people with his/her behavior.
Such addicts think that they are only hurting themselves. But that is not true. They have direct and indirect influence on their families, colleagues, friends and all those they socialize with.
Never feel alone or embarrassed when helping someone get rid of drug addiction. Most of us have a perception of our own about drug and alcohol addicts. We think that it is the addicts’ weak will power that gets them drug addiction.
