Question by Cjorfi: How do u say the following expression in English?
Yo tuve que pasar el mono para poder superar mi adiccion a la heroina.
“pasar el mono” refers to the process u have to go thru in order to overcome ur addiction. its all the symptoms like nausea, chills, etc
go cold turkey is to stop “just like that”. does it also refer to the whole process? For example, can i say “i went cold turkey for a few months straight during my time in rehab in 2007”.
put it in a sentence please.
