Question by Jack: why does it hurt after, you lose the feelings of love for someone?
I think I was in love with someone. I think so because whenever I thought of this one person I would feel happy and would always smile and just get a really good feeling about life whenever I would think of this one person. I would quite often just randomly at times of the day just think of this person and I would feel so happy and feel so great. I never met this person just only once. All of everything else is just what was built from text messages and talking on fb. I am not sure if it is possible to fall in love with someone from never being around them. But it happened to me.
So anyway there came the day when I had to stop loving this person cause I felt like I was losing control of myself. i wasn’t eating, sleeping, and just had these mood swings. I would feel so happy when I would talk with them but then after ward I felt so sad and alone. I was starting to think that I was becoming addicted to how she would make me feel so happy. Which was scary… Idk. But I had to stop thinking about her so much and all the rest. It hurt so much and now I feel like I am so dead inside. I felt so alive before but now everything seems so dull.
I know you will tell me to move on. I’ve been told this before. But I am just so confused and just wish that I could have that feeling I had before. The happiness. Can love be an addiction?
I just need answers and thought maybe anyone on here could offer some advice.
