Should I Attempt Rehab? Am I That Serious a Case?
Question by : Should I attempt rehab? Am I that serious a case?
Ok so first, I’m only 19 years old, but I’ve been drinking for a couple of years now-it started in high school, you know? Anyways, this last year has been beyond hell. I’ve been depressed on and off for a few years but I really started scaring myself this year-cutting, serious thoughts of suicide, withdrawing from my loved ones, heavy drinking. I’m not attending my classes, I’m depressed and slightly suicidal-I intend to start therapy, but I can’t stop drinking. I drink almost every night to the point where I pass out. Is it bad enough that I should go to rehab? Would that even help me? I’m messing up my whole life. I just don’t know what to do. Any advice (helpful please) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
And I’m not just writing this as some stupid ploy for attention. I really need some advice from people who don’t know me and aren’t biased.
