I am a self harmer.I try not to do it but its really hard not to because sometimes I dont even notice im doing it.
I was diagnosed with clinical depression a little over a year ago and have been harming myself for over 2 years.
With clinical depression I just have a chemical imbalance so hurting myself feels good to me (I REALLLYY wish it didnt because I hate the scars and the way people look at them)
I try my best to cover them up espicially when I have a open one on my arms or something but lately I have been peeling away the skin on my fingers until they bleed (Don’t ask me why Im not even sure myself) and I cant really do anything about it.

Let me start by saying I am a 15 year old freshman girl.
Currently my parents are driving me crazy. In particular, my dad. First, they have no respect for my privacy. For example, my dad just “happened” to read an entire gmail chat between me and my best friend which included information about her not being a virgin. She would be devastated if she knew they had found out, and I find it kind of unfair that they feel they have the right to read my personal chats. Now, they insist I don’t spend too much time with her anymore, which is fine, I understand why they feel this way, they don’t want her to influence me, but now they no longer trust me at her house, ever.
Secondly, my parents refuse to allow me to have a Facebook account. There number one reason is that they don’t want me to waste time, but when I asked my dad last weekend very maturely and after a long time, he said yes, I may get one. Well I was so happy, going around telling everyone, getting all excited that FINALLY after a year of trying I could have a facebook. Then today when I told him I was going to make the account, he said, out of nowhere, that he had changed his mind and I could not, after all, have one.
There are many more restrictions they put on me, such as not letting me, a mature 15 year old girl, watch PG-13 movies, and going through my phone to check on everything.
I do understand that they are my parents, and that they just want to make sure that I’m safe, but I can’t take this much longer, I feel like they are treating me unfairly. Any advice would be appreciated(:
I know communication is important, and we have had discussions about each of these topics separately. They always end with my dad telling me there is nothing I can do because they are my parents and I have to follow their rules.

its crap…what about the 40 yr old women that chase after 13 yr old girls….you never see THAT on t.v.?

okay, this is obviously unhealthy, what i mean is , is it actually damaging my body?
im not fat, and i don’t have spots, and i don’t have rotten teeth
but ALL i eat is sugary fooods. 99% of the time i would say i eat chocolate, sweets, fizzy drinks and milkshake.
could this cause any problems for me?
