The Causes Addiction May Determine How Addiction Treatment Is Handled
Researchers claim that a gene variant that has been characterized as the “pleasure-seeking gene” may be culpable for some people turning to drugs to increase their levels of dopamine which is a neurotransmitter that allows people to feel good. The explanation is persuasive and questionable as it may explain why not all people that take drugs become addictive or indulge in compulsive behaviour. It can also assist in developing effective drug addiction treatments and exploring addiction treatment models. On the other hand, it does not explain there appears to be various forms and levels of addiction. Someone addicted to drugs and alcohol, may not necessarily be addicted to or indulge in other compulsive behaviours such as sex or gambling.

Marijuana is a drug found in form of an herb. It’s botanically referred as cannabis sativa.
Marijuana is usually taken through smoking but can also be eaten or steeped in tea.
When smoked marijuana is rolled into a cigarette called a joint or a pipe called a bong.
Marijuana has got many street names example hashish, bhang, cannabis, pot, holy herb etc.
Its availability and low prices in many countries especially in Africa makes it to be usable among the youths and school pupils example the in secondary schools and colleges. Although
Inmost countries it is illegal but unfortunately due to weak law enforcing agent, incompetence, and lack of enough campaigns against the vice.
DISCUSSION
My opinion about it is that it should not be taken and any circumstances and should be discouraged at all levels. Due its wind ranging side effects that are either fatal or may lead to permanent incapacities to the person taking it.
