Do you think that addiction is a spiritual problem? I mean when you look at record of the rehabilitation centers and the many people who suffer relapse and recidivism. Don’t you think that a “Divine Intervention” is in order?

In a sense, yes, it is a spiritual problem that ends up being a physical problem. Divine Intervention can be forth coming, but you need to do your part first: stop the drinking, go through detox and go through a 12-step program.    Read more...

Addiction is addiction.

Also – the treatment people make money whether their treatment is effective or not. They don’t have to come up with a different plan for different addictions.

The court doesn’t care what kind of treatment you get – as long as you get treatment. Mostly rehab and treatment are ineffective.    Read more...
