What Would a Teacher Do if They Found a Student Self Harming?
Question by Ash: What would a teacher do if they found a student self harming?
I know all the guide lines, im a self harmer
and am getting some help.
But what would happen if a teacher actually FOUND you self harming?
Also any tips on how to shake this, would be great.
I’ve got the elastic band, and ice block tricks
Any others would be great.
And any good creams or solutions to help fade scars on my arm?

the teacher more than likely make u c a guidance counselor if u r in high school then they would call your parents. at college all the teacher would do is just talk to u and tell u what decision u should make they don’t call anybody since u r an adult. high school teachers, middle school teachers, and elementary school teachers r required by law to report it so it wouldn’t b a good idea to do that. idk of any creams that would make scars go away but if u come up with one tell me b/c i have tons of scars.

I am a self harmer.I try not to do it but its really hard not to because sometimes I dont even notice im doing it.
I was diagnosed with clinical depression a little over a year ago and have been harming myself for over 2 years.
With clinical depression I just have a chemical imbalance so hurting myself feels good to me (I REALLLYY wish it didnt because I hate the scars and the way people look at them)
I try my best to cover them up espicially when I have a open one on my arms or something but lately I have been peeling away the skin on my fingers until they bleed (Don’t ask me why Im not even sure myself) and I cant really do anything about it.
