i’ve getting a little worried that i might have schizophrenia. i know it sounds weird “i think i might have schizophrenia” but i’m really starting to get worried. i just turned 18 and i read that schizophrenia is diagnosed in late teens,years 20’s.

Question by Kristi c: Does anyone know how well the drug Chantix works for smoking cessation?

I quit on 12/25/06 using Chantix. It relally helped me get over the hump. I had some minor urges the first two weeks after quiting and I still get an occasional urge but the medication made it a whole lot easier. I have since stoped taking it (last weekend)and still haven’t had a puff.

Hi….I quit smoking with Chantix a little over 2 months ago. I think that it has been a miracle so far! I started taking it a week before my quit date, and by the time my quit date came, I was ready to quit! I had some weird side effects like nausea, strange dreams and rapid heartbeat a couple of times, but it all went away after a couple weeks. I actually felt confident enough to stop taking the medication a couple weeks ago and still havent had a desire to smoke. Hang in there, it will work…especially if you want it to!
