Chocolate Addiction?

Question by Kris: chocolate addiction?
Is there such a thing and if there is
whats the cure??

Best answer:

Answer by Kayla P
there could be if you are eating chocolate to the point where it is threatening your health but you can’t stop eating it then I guess you could consider it addiction. or if you have to eat chocolate everyday but it doesn’t interfere with your life it could still be addiction but don’t get a cure. what would the cure be any ways? would you have withdrawal symptomsLOL

Answer by Maggie Mae
Join the millions of International Chocolate Lovers who are hooked on Chocolate! I for one should be president of that club. Although cocoa is said to be a drug, not to mention a sexual stimulant (*nudge, nudge*), it may be addicting but its notthing more than an oversized sweet tooth encompassing the world. I wouldnt worry too much about it. If you do happen to start gaining a lot of weight and feeling disgusting, then maybe youve eaten too much. but a littel snickers here, or godiva there wont kill ya. 🙂

Possible Percocet Addiction?

Question by Elle: Possible Percocet addiction?
This is a serious question, please don’t give me any rude answers. My fiancé is a carpenter and he fell off a roof and broke his back, tail bone, collar bone and several other broken bones, sprains and fractures. This happened about 2 months ago and he is very lucky to be alive and he’s recovering quite well. Anyways, he got prescribed 30mg Percocet. Before this accident he has never taken these pills. He was very worried in the beginning about taking them because they are highly addictive and he has known several people who have had prescription drug addictions. He takes 1 30mg pill a day, sometimes he only takes half a day. He has been taking them as directed and no more. Though he is recovering it may be a while until the pain goes away. We are both worried he will become addicted. He can’t just stop taking them because of his pain. Will he become addicted? Will he have those horrible withdrawal symptoms when he finally stops?

Methadone Addiction Symptoms?

Question by Victoria aka. seductive animal: Methadone Addiction Symptoms?
I think a friend of mine is addicted to methadone…..what are the symptoms?

Best answer:

Answer by opester
Basically the same as those for heroin addiction however methadone does not create the high that is experienced with heroin. Someone being treated for heroin addiction via methadone maintenance will most certainly experience withdrawal symptoms if they attempt to stop use abruptly. Methadone addiction, when it is prescribed for pain management, can occur and symptoms would most likely be a need and desire to take increasing amounts of the drug over time, diminished effectiveness of pain control at the prescribed dose and the withdrawal syndrome upon cessation of use that is characteristic of the opiates.

Answer by Joyful
Methadone is used 2 treat herion or morphine addicts. It’s just substituting 1 problem 4 another. If they have 2 have it everyday.Or,it doesn’t make’m sick anymore. They culd very well b addicted.I’ve did herion & morphine. It’s all very addictive.I hope yur friend gets better.
