It makes people very agitated because all they want to do is play and they get annoyed when someone stops them.
Even if someone talks to the video addict, they will get agitated and talk very rudely back.
It makes them unsociable and very unpleasant to be around- I know from experience- my brother was on the x-box all the time. I can tell you I’d never seen a more: lazy, spoilt, inconsiderate brat in my life. He always answered back rudely for no reason what so ever.
One day my mum got completely sick of it so she broke my brother’s x-box (literally threw it on the floor- no she isn’t crazy; there was a cycle of: ‘confiscate the x-box– then give it back when my brother asks nicely’) But anyway, my brother went into like a fit for the next few days but then went back to his normal self.
He has an x-box 360 now but isn’t addicted to it :D.
Anyway- treat it by restricting yourself on how much you play- though I guess it’s kinda impossible…
