Question by LiveGreen: Why after my father’s death I have become so superstitious?
I’m addicted to daily horoscope & dream interpretation since my dad died. A few days ago I saw in my dream my mother-who is alive- calling my father and next day I searched that something really bad will happen to my mom. So I didn’t go out all day but nothing happened. How can I stop this addiction? What do you think made me become addicted to these?

This may sound dumb but do this, tonight lay in your bed and say “god, stop me from beliveing this not true horoscopes, because they dont live my life, i live my life and i cant base my life on this! Amen.” and you have that much faith, And put ur heart into it, you will stop believing in those Nd you will have faith in something else, god.

You really should go talk to someone who can possibly prescribe medicine for you. There are a million ways that stress can manifest and obsessive behavior is one. This can be controlled very easily, quickly and cheaply with a low-dose of the right SSRI. I have been through the same thing. So, if it were me, I would talk to a therapist to get all of your feelings about your dad, etc out, get on a low dose of some medicine and practice some sort of relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga or even walking.
