My boyfriend wants to build back his strength for college ball. He says he might do one cycle in order to gain some mass for the Spring. WIll this cycle cause addiction? long term affects? Immediate ramifications? I am very opposed. Should I be as opposed as I am.

Not only is it illegal, but also detrimental to his health. Ask him to watch the documentary “The Man Who’s Arm Exploded” (I believe that’s what it is called). I’ve seen it on TLC and Discovery channel, I believe. It is unethical, and if he gets caught, he won’t be able to play at all. It’s simply not worth it.

there is a difference between safe steroid use and abuse. when done properly certain steroids can be administered virtually side effect free. side effects from anabolic or androgenic steroids differ and are mainly dose dependent. there is an old saying that we use in the iron game and that’s “test is best’…meaning sticking to a basic low dose testosterone cycle and having anti-estrogens on hand like nolvadex and clomid. have him get some blood work done before and after. for a proper basic steroid cycle he would need:
test enanthate or sust 250, HCG, nolvadex, clomid and T3
