Today was the first time I took Adderall that was about 9:30am. IT WAS GREAT!!!! LASTED ALL DAY yea I’m a usual 17yr teen a junior in high school (WITH BAD GRADES) I smoke weed almost on a regular basis. BECAUSE IT’S HARMLESS I am not afraid of getting addicted to pot. I would really like to keep taking adderall so I looked up and learned the side effects ECT….
The reason why I smoke weed is because it gets me motivated to do things School, Work, other boring things etc.. But I can’t really concentrate on it I’m to….. Giddy and have a reallll short attention span (sometimes).
Adderall is a different story.
Like today I raised my hand in class more than a few times and instead of arguing with the teacher like I normally do sober or high. I just didnt feel like arguing cause it was a waste of time. Today I wanted to do what was right by me. Which is the complete opposite of me. I did all my History, Math, Chemistry and even sat through a boring English movie that I could of easily slept through and did a English paper during lunch that wasn’t even due for a while. Just cause I wanted to do what is right for me…. also it made me wanna talk, really talk, normally I’m just kind of quiet, but today I conversed (sp) to tons of people that I don’t even know normally when they talk to me or vice versa I just don’t have anything to say, now I had tons of reasons to KEEP talking. I even felt like standing up and helping out people most of them friends.
I felt like telling people not friends but older people how I felt about Adderall, like my Counselor, Sister and maybe even my Vice Principal (who I don’t get along with at all) people that would understand what I’m going through just to get their opinions on what to do.
So far today I’ve had the usual symptoms (after coming down)
· Light headed
·Stomach ache
·Increased heart rate
·And loss of appetite (but now I am very hungry)
·And I’m sweating for no reason
My friend who does the same EXACT things I do and has done Adderall a few times said that I will not be able to go to sleep, but I feel tired, and said that these symptoms probably wont last cause it was my first time taking it.
I guess what I’m trying to say is what do I do? Not exactly what to do but tips and suggestions like who to talk to. Should I keep taking it WHY or WHY NOT?
Is this how you get addicted.?????

I started out not feeling it but by talking and typing kinda picked it back up.

Don’t smoke weed because it is harmful. (That’s what all the stoners say for an excuse) and don’t do drugs cuz its stupid.

Were you on Adderall when you wrote this? Excuse me for asking, but all of those random caps make me feel like you’re speaking extremely fast and then yelling every now and then.
Anyway, you should stop taking it, point blank. Adderall is NOT supposed to make you all jittery and what not. It was made for ADHD, to help people calm down and focus. Obviously you are having adverse reactions to the drug.
My doctor told me that Adderall is a watered down speed. A friend of mine was put on Adderall in 2007 and now she is addicted. She looks like a methamphetamine addict. She gets so jittery that she scratches holes into her face, she started having hallucinations that shadows were all around her, she can’t focus on one thing, she’s lost about 150 pounds (she was a big girl, now she just looks disgusting, like she’s withering away), she treats everyone like shit, she started stealing to buy it off of the street, and her teeth are rotting away.
Is that what you want? She was only 24.

And by the way, I don’t find any harm in smoking weed. It’s not “HARMLESS” like you say, however. It contains tar when smoked and any kind of smoke or tar acts as an irritant to your mouth, throat, esophagus, and lungs.
Just saying. It’s better in a water bong or a vaporizer. Or brewed as a tea or eaten in brownies…
