Addiction to Anything but Primarily Nicotine?

Question by Pp Rye: Addiction to anything but primarily nicotine?
Now im just curious on the subject of withdrawal. When someone quits using nicotine, and the withdrawal effects are gone I dont understand why they have a craving? Are u still addicted permanently just no side effects of withdrawal? Or is it the same as just one cig, you feel the effect and u would like it, but its very controllable..sorta like weed?

When you stop smoking & the nicotine leaves your body, which I’m told happens within 2 or 3 days, you are still physically addicted to the nicotine because receptors in your brain are still there for the nicotine.
