Addiction to technology is a hot topic today since so many people suffer from it or think they suffer from it. Here are some ideas for an article:
Physical affects of overusing technology such as weight gain from lack of physical activity, eye strain from looking at computer monitors too much, muscle and joint pain from sitting too much, wrist problems from mouse use and typing . . .

Addiction to anything is unhealthy – if it really is an addiction. If you are addicted to something, it means that the activity disrupts your ability to lead a healthy and normal life. With technology, that may mean that the addiction effects social life – for example, a dependency on socializing with people virtually but not in real life.
It could mean that the person neglects responsibilities, like school or work. For example, while a person is supposed to be working, he is spending time online.
Spending too many hours interacting with technology and not people, can actually rewire your brain. Have you ever heard kids talk about “advancing to the next stage” in something mundane they are doing – using language from a computer game they have been playing? I once heard someone describe a beautiful nature view as “lovely graphics”!
Too much technology can be stressful. People who are always online – via cellphone, Internet, Twitter, Facebook, etc. This causes a lot of stress.

Good luck!
