Question by : Hydrocodone Addiction?
I need help. I am addicted to hydrocodone and I am more than ready to quit. I know it’s not going to be easy, but I need advice on the best way to quit and what I can expect. I have been taking about 500 mg per day (50 10mg) for almost two years.

I have tried to cut back but that doesn’t work well for me. Because of that, I feel that cold turkey is probably the best thing for me. I have never gone longer than 8 to 12 hours without pills. At that amount of time, I begin to experience watery eyes, runny nose and yawning. I know it will get worse but don’t know what to expect.

Going to rehab is not an option for me. I am an executive married to a law professional and this cannot come out.    Read more...
