Things like alcoholism, drug addictions, and/or eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.

What is your opinion on titling these as “diseases”?

Personally, I don’t consider them diseases. This is not due to ignorance. My brother is addicted to drugs, my father is an alcoholic, and I struggled with anorexia for 4 years. Please respect my opinions. I would really like to hear other perspectives.

CANCER is a disease. They are all deadly. But I personally don’t think they are diseases.

Disease? No. But they’re definitely a problem detrimental to one’s health, I just don’t think “disease” is the right term to call it
