How Long Would You Stay in the Hospital…?
Question by ???: How long would you stay in the hospital…?
If someone passed out from malnutrition caused by an eating disorder and somebody else took them to the hospital, would the hospital admit them to a rehab or something? The person in the hospital would be under eighteen. Please be as specific as possible with your information.
Note: This is for a piece of fiction I am writing. I have no history of mental illness, eating disorders, or self-harm. Please do not tell me I am “worth it” — this isn’t about me. Thanks.

What they would do next would depend. It would depend on the situations, but what they would do if they were under 18 would be to speak to their parents or guardians
